Annual Scoliosis Screening will be held on 2/23 for 6th graders and 3/2 for 8th graders. Form 4400 was filled out by each student in these grades and letters should have gone home with each student. These letters were handed out to students during their first period block over a week ago. On form 4400 there is a section that can be filled out by parents if they do not want their child to participate in this screening. Regardless of participation, I need the student and parent section of these forms filled out and returned to the school. I have almost 90% of the 6th grade forms back but only have 50% of the 8th grade forms. Tomorrow I will be sending out the letter again to students in their first period and please return them ASAP. If I do not receive the form back, the student will be screened. If you have any question about this service provided by the school system, please call Crystal Kilheffer RN at Schley Middle High School. Have a nice day.

A huge thank you to Rep. Mike Cheokas for hosting Coach Rooks’ AP Government students and Student Council today at the Capitol. Thank you also to Governor Kemp and Speaker Ralston for taking time out of their busy schedules to take a picture with them.
