Work Based Learning/Youth Apprenticeship Program student Trey Harmon visited the State Capitol on February 1, 2022, for Firefighter Recognition Day and was able to get a picture with State Representative Mike Cheokas. Trey is an intern with the Sumter County Fire Department.

Students in grades 8-11: Registration sheets for the upcoming school year are due by Wednesday, January 26. You will report to your TAA on Wednesday the 26th from 8:00-8:05. You will turn in your registration sheet to your TAA teacher. You can turn your sheet in before Wednesday, but it must be turned into your TAA teacher. If you did not receive a registration sheet or have misplace it, you may pick one up in the front office.

Parents, it is once again time for our students to complete the Georgia Student Health Survey and for you to complete the Georgia Parent Survey.
The survey link for the parent survey is provided below. Survey participation is voluntary this year, but we STRONGLY encourage participation to maintain an accurate account of the supports students need at this time. The parent survey will stay open until March 11th. High school students will take the student health survey tomorrow during TAA. If you do not wish for your child to take the survey, please send in a written note tomorrow, and have your child bring it to the office.
