We will be giving the PSAT (Practice SAT) on October 8, at the high school. If you are a 9th or 11th grade student and are interested in taking this practice test, please sign up by Friday, August 29, in the front office. The cost for 9th and 11th graders to take the PSAT is $ 18.
11th graders who take this exam and score well may meet requirements to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program. Click on the link for more information about the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Painted Senior Parking Spots Update
Seniors wanting to paint a parking spot can purchase a parking permit in the front office Monday, July 21- Thursday, July 24, or Monday, July 28 - Friday, Aug 1. A parking permit must be purchased before painting.
Designs must be submitted to Mrs. Harnage (sharnage@schleyk12.org) by Monday, July 28 at 11:00 am for approval. If you need an information and design form, email Mrs. Harnage or go by the front office to pick up one.
Painting dates are Tuesday, July 29 (8 - 3) and/or Saturday morning, August 2 (8-12). NO ONE CAN BEGIN PAINTING UNTIL GETTING APPROVAL FROM MRS. HARNAGE!
Payment can be a check made out to Schley County High School or cash. It can be given to Mrs. Harnage on the day you begin painting. NO PAYMENT, NO PAINTING!

Retiree Spotlight!!
The Schley County Family Connection Collaborative honored five of our graduates today. Connor Rhyne was recognized as Valedictorian and STAR Student. Abbie Cheek was honored as Salutatorian. Hank Arrington was named an Honor Graduate and received the Nancy McMath Young History Scholarship. Kayden Poole, also an Honor Graduate, was acknowledged for her service as a Student Board Member for the Schley County Family Connection Collaborative. Michaela Harris was recognized as an Honor Graduate as well. We are thankful for everything the Collaborative has done for our students today and the support they provide to our school system!
