Seniors: SCHS will be hosting Apply to College Day for all seniors. The event will be held on Thursday, November 18, from 8:30-11:00 a.m. in the media center. Seniors who are planning to participate should sign up for a time outside the front office.
Red Ribbon Week is next week. The days are:
Monday: "We're RED-y to make a difference drug free!" Wear Red
Tuesday: "From head to toe, I'm bully and drug free!" Wear crazy hair and socks
Wednesday: "Team up against bullying and drugs!" Wear your favorite sports/athletic gear
Thursday: "Hats off to being bully and drug free!" Wear a hat
Friday: "Show your spirit drug free!" Wear school spirit colors

Just a reminder that Thursday is your last chance to purchase presale discounted tickets ($8) to Friday’s Senior night game. Tickets will be sold in the front office from 8:30-2:30. Senior night will begin at 7:00. Get these tickets to skip the long lines at the gate.

Seniors...Just a reminder this Friday, October 22, is the deadline to turn in your Probe Fair permission slip.
Just a reminder for those students participating in our after-school support program that starts today.
Students will meet in the cafeteria at 3:10 PM today.
The session will run from 3:15 to 4:50 PM each day we are in session.
Car Riders will be ready for pickup at 4:50 PM in the front of the school.
Bus Riders will load at 4:50 PM on the bus ramp (Please be patient with the first couple of days on bus drop-off due to drivers finding the quickest route to drop off students)
After School Tutoring for High School
If you are a high school student who is struggling in a class and could benefit from after-school tutoring, please come by and see Mrs. Green. We are looking to start after school tutoring for high school soon and the sessions would run from 3:30- to no later than 4:30. Come by her office and let her know the days you can stay and what subject you need tutoring.
The Varsity Softball Sweet Sixteen will be played at ECI on Wednesday beginning at 3:00. Tickets will only be available through GoFan. The link to purchase tickets is: https://gofan.co/app/school/GA6650

Picture retakes are Monday!
Varsity football hosts Pelham tonight for Homecoming. Kickoff is at 7:30. Tickets are $10. The court will be announced at halftime. Arrive early for a yearbook photo of the stands for the yearbook cover. The picture will be take before 7:00.
The Wildcats walk it off in the bottom of the 8th to defeat Glascock Co. 6-5 to advance to the sweet sixteen. We will travel to ECI next week. Stay tuned for details.
MS football travels to Chattahoochee Co. today for the final regular season game of the season. Kickoff is at 5:00.
Great day here on campus. Varsity softball hosts Glascock Co. in a winner-take-all playoff game 3 at 3:00. ($7) JV football hosts Marion Co. at 5:00 with the annual powderpuff Jr/Sr game to follow. ($5)
The softball team split with Glascock Co. today 0-7 and 14-4 to force a game 3 winner take all game tomorrow. First pitch will be at 3:00. Come out and support these young ladies as they try to advance to the sweet 16.

We will also assist students in applying to any college. Through the month of November GSW and SGTC will be waiving application fees.
