
Attention Juniors and Seniors...you will have an opportunity to attend the PROBE fair at GSW, and a GSW and SGTC tour on October 3, 2019. Please make sure you pick up a permission slip in the front office or print one off HERE and return it the front office by Monday, Sept. 30.

It’s homecoming week. We kick things off with the powderpuff game tonight at 7:00. Varsity softball hosts Marion Tuesday and Brookstone Thursday. MS softball hosts region playoffs on Wednesday.

We would like to recognize the boys' cross country team for placing second overall at the GMC Bulldog Dash last night with David Williams finishing 3rd overall and Aaron Pinkard finishing seventh overall. Congratulations boys!

Any 9th or 11th grader interested in taking the Pre-SAT on October 30, please sign the list in the office by Thursday morning, September 19. The cost is $17; you may pay at a later date, but we need to know your interest so we may order you a test.

The SGTC 1st block nursing class, that meets at the Board of Education, will not meet tomorrow, Wednesday, September 18.

Don't forget that Homecoming Week is next week! We cannot wait to see all the outfits!

Georgia Southern Information Night, Wednesday, September 24 at 6 p.m. at the Columbus Convention and Trade Center

The Schley County School System has partnered with the Schley County Health Department in offering flu shots to students. A consent form will be sent home with students and needs to be filled out and returned to school by September 23, 2019. The forms can be given to either homeroom teachers or office staff. The shots will be offered on October 11, 2019 after early release in the elementary school lunchroom from 1 to 4 pm. In order for students to receive the shot, a parent must be present. On the consent form, insurance information is asked for but a student can receive the shot even if they do not have insurance coverage.

All students who are eligible to purchase a letter jacket need to see Coach Theiss by Thursday September 19 to be sized. A $50 deposit will be due by September 23 to place your order. Eligibility is based on having completed 2 consecutive varsity seasons in the same activity.

If you believe you have qualified for a letter jacket and would like to order one, see Coach Theiss next week by Friday 9/20 to get sized and determine eligibility.

No student is allowed inside the gym before 7:55 a.m. except to put a bag in their coach's office. At 7:55, students who have first period in the gym may enter. NO STUDENT IS ALLOWED IN THE GYM PRIOR TO 7:55 a.m.

Picture retake day is September 26. If you did not take a photo on the original picture day, you must make sure that you get your photo taken this day in order to guarantee your photo in the yearbook.

All Homecoming Shirt orders forms are due tomorrow, Sept. 13. If you have not received a form, you may pick one up in the front office or from Miss Henderson.

Homecoming Representatives...Mrs. Gordy needs your information sheets by Wednesday, September 18.

FBLA members who have not turned in your Fancloth fundraising orders, they are due Friday. Remember you must have 3 items sold.
