The Varsity softball game vs. Brookstone this afternoon has been cancelled and will NOT be made up.
The MS football game scheduled for this afternoon at Chattahoochee County has been postponed until next Wednesday 10/13.
The MS Softball game at Taylor Co. has been postponed until Thursday afternoon. The Cross Country meet today has been cancelled.
FCCLA will be collecting candygram orders through this Thursday. They are $1 each and can be sent to anyone in the school system. Middle school students may turn in orders to your homeroom teacher. High school students please see Mrs. Driver to place orders.
Students who are interested in taking the ASVAB test, please sign up outside Mrs. Green's office. The ASVAB will be given here on November 5, at 8:30.
Tractor Driving/Operation Competition 2021
Schley County FFA placed seventh out of twenty-one in this year's Tractor Driving/Operation Competition. Our School was represented by sophomore Jack Clark. In this competition students are required to drive a tractor through a set up obstacle course and answer various questions about tractor operation and parts of a tractor. A special shoutout to Jack Clark for competing in this competition.
Thursday's JV game vs. Crawford Co. has been cancelled. We will attempt to reschedule so stay tuned.
Presale tickets for Friday's game will be sold in the HS office from 8:30-2:30 Tues., Wed. and Thurs. for $8. Friday is rec night, get your tickets early to avoid lines at the gate. Introductions of the rec teams will begin at 7:00. Tickets at the gate will be $10.
All middle school basketball players should turn in their physical forms to Coach Scott or Coach Moore before fall break on Thursday. Middle school basketball practice begins when we return from fall break next Wednesday. Please see Coach Moore or Coach Scott if you have questions.
Free COVID-19 VACCINE at Friday's Football Game
FCCLA will be selling Halloween Candygrams October 4-7, 2021. Candygrams are $1.00. Each candygram includes a full-size candy bar and a holiday themed label. If you wish to purchase candygrams, please return order forms, with payment by Thursday, October 7, 2021. Remember to include a valid phone number on checks. Please help out your teacher by placing money and order forms in an envelope. On the front of the envelop please write FCCLA Candygram Fundraiser, first and last name of the student purchasing the candygrams, and the first and last name the student’s homeroom teacher. Students may send candygrams to students in other homerooms, school staff, student teachers, etc. Candygrams may also be delivered to students at the elementary school.
