It's playoff gameday!!!! The Wildcats host Lake Oconee Academy. The DH today begins at 4:00. Admission is $10 and only GHSA sanctioned passes can be accepted for admission. If you are unable to attend you can listen to the game on 94.7 WDEC or on the WDEC app.

Baseball game traffic for tomorrow's playoff games will need to enter the south entrance of the High School and go around the outside of the student parking lot to access the ball field. The elementary car rider loop will be abbreviated at the batting cages.

The Region Track meet will be held tomorrow 4/29 at Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany, GA. Events will begin at 10:30. There is a $5 charge for all spectators.

6th Grade Orientation will be Thursday, May 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Students and parents are invited to attend to receive information about transitioning to the Middle/High school.

The yearbook is currently recruiting new staff members. If any students are interested in joining this team, please pick up an application form this week. Forms are available in the front office as well as Mr. King's classroom. Applications and teacher recommendations must be submitted to Mr. King or Mrs. Bass by the deadline on May 5.

Seniors...Awards night is fast approaching on Tuesday, May 11, at 6:30pm. We would like for each of you to be recognized for all your hard work and accomplishments. We would like to include any award or scholarship you will be receiving during the ceremony. You must email or bring a copy of the award or scholarship you will be receiving by Wednesday, May 5th to Mrs. Hagerson. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Hagerson.

Middle School softball tryouts for the 2021-2022 season will be May 3 from 3:30-5:30. All paperwork is due to Mrs. Dupree BEFORE you can tryout. Please see Mrs. Dupree if you need the required paperwork.

Senior honor graduates are reminded to turn in their permission form to Mrs. Conner before Friday.

The Wildcats will host Lake Oconee Academy in the 1st Rd of the playoffs this week. Thursday's DH will begin at 4:00, the "if" game will be played Friday at 2:00. Only GHSA passes will be honored. Admission to Thursday's DH will be $10 and the "if" game will be $7.

Seniors...It is time for you to make your nominations for your recessional song at graduation. Email your nominations to Mrs. Conner at bconner@schleyk12.org. You have until Friday, April 30, to submit your nomination. Please remember that graduation is a special time and while it is a celebration of you completing a stage of your life, it is still a ceremony that should be treated with dignity and formality. Please choose songs that are appropriate.

If any Sr. Beta member would like another t-shirt or would like to order one because you didn't the first time, please let Mrs. Harnage know today or Friday before leaving school. You don't have to have your money, you just need to get the order to her before Spring Break.

Auditions for next year's Drama class will be held in Mr. Myer's room this afternoon at 3:15. If you have not already done so, pick up an Audition Packet from Mr. Myers some time today.

Any senior interested in applying for the MADE scholarship needs to see Ms. Black as soon as possible.
