Schley County High School would like to congratulate Grace Layman for being chosen by College Board National Recognition Program as a National Merit Scholar for 2022. This National Recognition Program grants underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, helping them meaningfully connect to colleges and stand out during the admissions process. Students who may be eligible have a GPA of 3.5 or higher and have excelled on the PSAT/NMSQT or PSAT 10, or earned a score of 3 or higher on two or more AP Exams; and are African American or Black, Hispanic American or Latino, Indigenous, and/or attend school in a rural area or small town. Congratulations, Grace for all of your accomplishments!

Reminder that the Junior Ring Ceremony is tomorrow evening at 6:00 in the gym. Your ring must be paid for by 12:00 tomorrow to Jostens in order to participate

During 1st block this morning Probe Fair permission slips were given out to seniors. If you are not on campus during first block, you can pick a copy up in the front office or print out the attached permission slip https://5il.co/1hblr.

Students in Mrs. Roland's 9th grade English class have been studying about cultural rituals after reading the short story, "The Lottery". Students worked together to read about other cultural rituals from around the world to compare and contrast these against the rituals from the class reading. They then wrote a constructed response to explain the similarities and differences.
