Mrs. Rachel Calhoun's U.S. History classes visited the Little White House in Warm Springs, GA today. They were able to tour the museum, the property, and the Little White House. President Roosevelt's personal car he used in Warm Springs during his life was also on view.

There will be a mandatory Worked Based Learning meeting on Tuesday, January 10, at 8:15 in the cafeteria. All students in WBL second semester are to attend. This includes Teacher Apprentice and Technology Interns.
There will be a Characters Inc. meeting after school this Friday at 3:15. All Characters Inc. members planning to attend next Saturday's field trip to the Fox Theatre in Atlanta must attend. Also, any Characters Inc. member who has not turned in their candy bar money must do so before this Friday's meeting.
Scoliosis screening is mandatory for all 6th and 8th grade students. The 6th graders will be screened on 2/2/2023 and the 8th graders on 2/9/2023. Paperwork will be sent home in the next couple of days talking about this screening. If you do not want your child to be screened, I will need the form #4400 signed by a parent in the opt out section and returned to school. If you have any questions feel free to contact the school nurse Crystal Kilheffer.

Varsity Basketball travels to Marion Co. today. JV boys tip at 4:30, Varsity girls at 6:00 and Varsity boys follow. Tickets only purchased on GoFan, clear bag policy in effect, every fan must go through a metal detector and are subject to search. These are new region rules.
