On Monday, May 7, Schley County High School hosted a Future Educator Signing Event for students who completed the Teaching as a Profession Pathway. Caylee Skipper and Riley Schultz plan to attend Georgia Southwestern State University where they will major in education.
There will be a section of the back student parking lot closed in front of the greenhouses tomorrow due to concrete work. Please stay clear of this marked area.
The State Track Meet is at East Jackson High School: 1435 Hoods Mill Rd, Commerce, GA 30529. Good luck to our athletes as they compete Thursday May 9 thru Saturday May 11.
There will be a free physical clinic here at the school on Wednesday May 15 beginning at 3:30. If your child plans to participate in any athletic activity or band in the coming school year they will need an up-to-date physical. 6th Grade Orientation
The Wildcats won game one 6-3 over Lanier Co. Game two was rained out tied at 1 in the bottom of the 3rd inning. We will resume game 2 at 2:00pm on Monday. Your ticket purchased today will grant admission. If game 2 goes to Lanier, the park must be cleared and all spectators must purchase a $7 game 3 ticket to reenter.

Congratulations to the following pole vaulters for qualifying for the State Meet next week: Emma Campbell, Kate Saint, Emily Wilder, Braylon Baldwin, Sterling Blanchard, and Declan Ekkel. The rest of the track athletes will compete Saturday at Hugh Mills in Albany for their chance to compete at Sectionals and advance to the State Meet.

Students in Mrs. Morrison English classes dressed up in their best 1920s attire to experience the world of The Great Gatsby. They ate 1920s tea sandwiches, and some learned how to Charleston!

Macon County residents can apply for the Malloy/Edwards Scholarship.
The Main Street Grill Scholarship will be awarded to the students that will not qualify for Hope or Zell Miller but sill plans on attending college or technical school.
