Recently Mrs. Brooks' and Mrs. Huff's kindergarten class read Fancy Nancy and the Nice List, adapted by Krista Tucker. Nancy learned that others may not have Christmas or food. She met a girl while in line to talk to Santa who just wanted to be with her family at Christmas. Nancy saw the girl in line at the food bank, too. In the end, Nancy wanted the little girl to get her Christmas bike. She learned that it is better to give than to receive. Our boys and girls along with their families brought toys in to help Toys for Tots.
We would like to thank the Georgia State Patrol officers who came and picked the toys up from our class.
