Greetings from Athens, GA!

UGA Admissions will host a "First Look" event geared specifically for youth who are experiencing foster care and/or homelessness along with up to three guests per student. This program is designed for students in the 10th - 12th grades this year, and who may be competitive in the admissions process for UGA.

The student will hear from a variety of UGA representatives including faculty, staff and students. One of the primary goals is to highlight the broad array of resources available at UGA to meet their needs.  While much of the information will be UGA specific, this would also be a great opportunity to expose students who are just beginning to think about plans after high school.

The UGA First Look event is a free, content rich program and includes a variety of activities:

Campus tour
Opportunities to interact and meet with current students, faculty and staff to discuss available resources
Information sessions highlighting admissions, merit-based scholarships and our nationally ranked facilities and amenities
Lunch provided in the dining hall for invited students
