We have been working hard the last couple of weeks to finalize our project. We are finished. We have to burn the copies and submit. This has been a great experience for all that are involved. We have been able to remember some of the past events in history and have meaningful discussions about them. I am excited to see how well we do.
We are very excited about the progress we have made. We are actually almost finished. We still have to do the credits, but as for the main video, we are finished. We have shown the video to a few, looking for feedback, and the reaction from most has been "emotional." Emotional was what we were looking for.
For the last two days, the students have been researching and finding information for our project. I believe that we have found all of the information (video, pictures, citation information) that will be needed.
The students have been putting the information together. We are going to have to get permission to use the song that we have found. It is very appropriate for our movie and I hope that we are allowed to use it.
I feel that the movie makes a HUGE emotional impact. At least, in my opinion.
After meeting today, we have decided to change the direction of our project. Our first topic was, "What if today was your last day." We have decided that we wanted to do something that had more impact on individuals and history. After brainstorming, we have decided that our topic will be "What if....it never happened? We are going to highlight some of the major events that have changed the world. Have you ever really thought about how things may be today, if certain events had not happened? That is our point. We want people to think!
We are going to meet again on Tuesday. At this time, each member will present the events they feel have had an impact on history. We will begin to gather material for our movie.
We have chosen our team. The team consists of the following: Lily Welch, Bonnie Cathryn Morris, Allison Hood, Josh Worth, Dillon Still, Drew Rico, and Carlton Kite. We have decided that our them will be "What if today was your last day?" We are looking forward to having a great time completing the project.
